Our Story
Après Sea was born from a love of the ocean and outdoors. My name is Charlotte, I’m from the North East of England and I am lucky enough to live near the beautiful UK coast. I have always enjoyed being by the sea and decided to persue this passion moving to Cornwall to study Marine Conservation, Cornwall will always hold a special place in my heart no matter where in the world I am. Thinking of Cornwall brings back memories of evening treks to the beach after a long day in the lab or assignment writing for swims, surfs and BBQs.
As I often do I found myself being distracted doodling in-between taking notes, these doodles (after some edits) can now be seen on Après Sea tees! I didn’t plan to do anything with the designs but after showing a few to my parents (shout out to these legends) they encouraged me to get some tees printed and to give it a go and I have loved every minute of this hectic adventure.
Speaking of adventure I wanted to make quality tees that would last and I have definitely put this to the test, I have had my own Sunset tee (the OG) from the beginning and it has travelled across the world with me packed in my backpack… it is officially adventure proof!
As a marine conservationist it is important to me to keep Après Sea as eco friendly as possible to do this we make sure to use recycled and plastic free packaging on all our products as well as designing and producing our tees locally in the UK. We hope to improve this even more in the future and to introduce charity products, donating all profits to help marine conservation projects.
I am so stoked that so many people are already loving Après Sea.
